Network Boar d POA-MD13NET2 OWNER’S MANUAL INSTALLATION and OPERATION of the Network Board This board is the Network Board to control and set up a projector via a network. Connect a network cable to this board, and by accessing the connected projector using the web browser on your computer, the projector can be controlled and set up remotely.

NOTE; When replacement of terminal board, MAIN ON/OFF switch should be OFF position. 2 Remove 2 screws on a board from any of the slots 1 to 4*, and then pull the board out from the projector. * The number of the slots may differ from the actual depend- ing on type of the projector.
15 Network Board OWNER’S MANUAL ENGLISH Connection of LAN cable To connect to the network, it is required to use the UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) strait cable with RJ-45 plug. There are two different types of cables depending on whether the network is constructed with 10Base-T or 100Base-TX.
1 Selection of network menu Turn on the projector and display the menu on the screen. Select network icon from the main menu and then press SELECT button once. Check that the mode is "On". If not, change mode to "On" using the point buttons ( 7 8 ).

Network PIN code setting The Network PIN code can be set to restrict access to the setting page of the projec- tor using the web browser. ✐ Default Network PIN code [0000] means no Network PIN code is set. 1 Displaying Network PIN code menu Select network menu and then select "Network PIN code" sub menu.
How to enter the numbers with the screen 10-key pallet 1. Select a column with a red frame by using the point buttons 7 8 . 2. Press SELECT button. The screen 10-key pallet appears on the screen. 3. By using the point buttons( d e 7 8 ), select numbers 0 to 9 and press SELECT button.

Click on the Initial linked text on the main menu to display the initial setting page. The Languages, Date/Time and Password can be set in this page.
30 Chapter 3 Basic Setting and Operation 2 Password Setting This page is to set the password to restrict the access from an unauthorized per- son through the network. Enter the password onto the text box and press the Set button. The Network Board begins restarting and it takes about 40 seconds.
31 Network Board OWNER’S MANUAL ENGLISH Network Configuration Network Configuration Click on the Network Setting linked text on the main menu. The following setting page is displayed. This page is to set the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default gateway, DNS (Domain Name Server) and projector name.
32 Chapter 3 Basic Setting and Operation ✐ To use the E-mail function, it must be set the DNS address on the Network Setting page correctly. ✐ You cannot use this E-mail function if the DNS server and SMTP server cannot be used in your network environment.

Check the condition items under which alert mes- sages will be sent and press the Set button. Please refer to chapter “Examples :Type and con- tents of alert messages” described on the next page.

Administrator or user can take an efficient action quickly by receiving this massage.

36 Chapter 4 Controlling the Projector ✐ The projector is not turned on for about 90 seconds after switching into the standby mode. After the power status indicator on the control page changes from “On Cooling down” to “OFF”, then try to turn on the projector with On button.

Input This function is to select the input mode and slot to the projector. Select the input slot with the radio button, and input source mode with the pull- down menu button. Then set the selected input source and source mode by pressing the Set button.
39 Network Board OWNER’S MANUAL ENGLISH PC Adjustment This function is to adjust the signal from the computer connected to the projector to obtain the proper picture image on the screen. Click on the page number linked texts to change the setting pages.
Load a Set Select a set to load with the pull-down menu button of the Load Setting No. and press the Set button. Select a system with the radio buttons to match the color system or scanning system of input source, and then press the Set button.
42 Chapter 4 Controlling the Projector Image Adjustment This function is to adjust the projected picture image and set the image mode. For selection of image mode, select a desired image mode with the Image Adjustment Mode pull-down menu button and then press the Set button.

Sound Adjustment This function is to adjust the sound of the projector. The values in each text box represent the current control value or status. 44 Chapter 4 Controlling the Projector Screen Adjustment This function is to adjust the screen mode of the projector.

Before setting the timer, please confirm that the current date and time are set correctly. Timer and clock func- tions are functioning using a lithium battery provided in this product.
50 Chapter 4 Controlling the Projector Service This function sets parameters for service items of the projector. As these service items are used mainly for maintenance, please use the default set- ting unless a change is needed. There may be not available items depend- ing on the projector's function.

The contents of the pages may differ from the actual depending on the selected input mode and the function of the projector.

56 Chapter 5 Controlling the Multi-Projectors Multi-Contr ol This function enables you to control (Power, Image, Date/Time, Timer, Screen, etc.) the multiple projectors equipped with the Network Board con- nected to the network. Click on the Multi Control linked text on the main menu to dis- play the control page.
