5 All the saf et y and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated. Read all of the instr uctions given here and retain them for later use. Unplug this projector from A C po wer supply before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
6 Openings in the cabinet are provided f or ventilation. T o ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from ov erheating , these openings must not be bloc ked or co vered. CA UTION Hot air is exhausted from the e xhaust v ent. When using or installing the projector , the follo wing precautions should be taken.
7 Use the projector properly in specified positions. Improper positioning may reduce the lamp lif e and result in sev ere accident or fire hazard. This projector can project the pict ure in upward, down ward, or inclined position in perpendicular direction to the horizontal plane.
8 Use the hand grip when moving the projector . Replace the lens cap and retract the adjustable f eet to prev ent damage to the lens and cabinet when carr ying . When the projector is not in use for an e xtended period, put it into a suitable case to protect the projector .

18 Installation Projection angle can be adjusted up to 3.5 degrees with the adjustable feet. Rotate the adjustable feet and tilt the projector to the proper height; to raise the projector , rot ate the both f eet cloc kwise. 50 Captur e This function enables y ou to capture an image being projected to use it for a starting-up display or interval of presentations. Select Capture and press the SELECT but ton. A confirmation box appears and select [Y es] to capture the projected image.

53 Lamp contr ol This function allo ws y ou to c hange brightness of the screen. Auto 1 ......... The brightness according to the input signal (between Normal and Eco mode). Auto 2 ......... The brightness according to the input signal (between High and Eco mode).
54 Set ting P ointer Y ou can emphasiz e a part of the projected image with this function. Use the P oint ed but tons to c hoose either Spotlight or P ointer and press the SELECT but ton. Then use the P oint 7 8 but tons to select a size of the Spotlight (Large, Middle, or Small) or a pat tern of the P ointer (Arrow , Finger , or Dot).
55 Set ting Display This function decides whether to displa y On-Screen Displays. On ............................ Sho w all the On-Screen display s. Use this function when y ou want to project images af ter the lamp becomes bright enough. The f actor y default set ting is in this option.
56 Set ting Press the SELECT but ton at P ower management and this dialog box appears. Use the P oint 7 8 but tons to c hoose one of the three options. Press the P oint d button to select the timer , and then use the P oint 7 8 but tons to set timer .
57 Set ting Shutt er Shut ter function is av ailable to bloc k out light to the screen, so that the screen can be used for the other presenters. Prohibits the shut ter operation from the remote control and the projector's top control. Remote control .

61 Maint enance and Car e Filter Instructions Filter prev ents dust from accumulating on the optical elements inside the projector . Should the filter becomes clogged with dust particles, it will reduce cooling fans ’ ef fectiv eness and ma y result in internal heat buildup and adversely af f ect the life of the projector .

64 Auto Lamp Selection System This P rojector is equipped with 2 Projection Lamps. The Lamp Management F unction detects the st atus of lamps and shows the stat us on screen or on the LAMP 1/2 REPLA CE indicators.
65 When the total lighting time of a Projection Lamp reac hes the recommended tot al hours of use, the Lamp replacement icon appears on the screen and LAMP 1 / 2 REPLA CE indicator lights yello w . Replace the lamp with a new one promptly . The timing when the LAMP 1 / 2 REPLA CE indicator should light is depending on the lamp mode.
66 This projector uses a high-pressure lamp whic h must be handled carefully and properly . Improper handling may result in accidents, injury , or create a fire hazard. l Lamp lif e may dif fer from lamp to lamp and according to the environment of use.
