7 G et star ted First steps to operate your phone SIM card information When you subscribe to a cellular network, you receive a plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card loaded with your subscripti on details, suc h as your PIN, and available optional services.
8 Get started Low battery indicator When the battery is low: • a warning tone sounds, • the battery low message displays, and • the empty battery icon blinks. If the battery lev el becomes too low , the phone automatically turns off . Recharge your battery .

Call functions 25 Using the headset Use the headset to m ake or answer calls without holding the pho ne. Connect the he adset to the jack on the right side of the phone. The button o n the headset works a s follows: Options during a call Y ou can access a number of functions during a ca ll.

Call functions 27 Muting or sending key tones Y ou can turn the key tones off or on. Press < Options > and select Mute keys or Send keys . Sending a sequence of DTMF tones Dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones are the tones used in phones for tone diall ing.
28 Call functions Setting up a multi-pa rty call 1. Call the fir st participant. 2. Call the second participant. The first call is automatica lly put on hold. 3. Press < Option s > and select Join . The first partic ipant is add ed to the mu lti-part y call.
29 M enu functions All menu options listed Call records (Menu 1) Use this menu to view the calls you have dialled, received, or missed, the length of your calls, and the cost of your calls. T o access t his menu, press [ Centre] in Idle mode and select Call records .
30 Menu functions Received calls (Menu 1.4) This menu displays the most recent calls you have received. Delete all (Menu 1.5) Use this menu to delete all of the records in each call type. 1. Pres s [Centre] to select the ca ll types to be cleared. 2. Press < Delete >.
