Navigation: Access and scroll through me nus and lists, confirm chan ges that you’ve entered, and interact wi th menus that appear in the display .

T a p your LCD screen to acti va te the password screen. 2. Enter your password on either the keypad or by using either the QWERTY keypad or alphan umeric keypad.

Note: Long backlight s ettings, simultane ous use of Wi-Fi and Blu etooth, searchin g for servic e, vibrate mo de and browse r use affect the ba ttery’s talk and standby times.

Understandi ng Y our Phone 40 Resetting your Phone to Factory Defaults Note: This reset action retains all of your pho ne’ s default pa rameters and setti ngs. This action is sim ilar to that of a Reset action on y our computer whic h only resta rts the machine wh ile maintaining al l data intact.
41 4. First release Reset then the Action ( ) key . This action resta rts the phone, clears any data stored on the phone, and then c ycle power to the phone. 5. Once the phone starts, you must tap the LCD screen using your Stylus to begin the calibration process.

Note: The Message Notification icon ap pears in the top of the d isplay.
63 Message Folders There are five message folders in the MMS, Outlook E-mail an d T ext Messages direct ory (see adjacent image). The folders and their func tions are similar to the folders in the ActiveSync direct ory , except fo r Outbox. In ActiveSync, E-mai l is stored in the Outbox until you perform an ActiveSync with your PC.

Unlike infrared, you don't need to line up the devices to beam info rmation with Bluetooth.
