When moving your refriger ator T o prevent floor damage, be sure the front adjusting legs are in the up position (above the floor). Refer to ‘L eveling the Refrigerator’ in the manual (on page 23).
REMOVING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS For some installations you need t o remove the fridge and freez er drawers so you can move the refriger ator to its final location. Do not remove the doors/drawer if you don’t need to. If you need to remove the doors.

RE-A TT ACHING THE WA TER SUPPL Y LINES T o reattach the fridge doors after you have moved the fridge to its final location, assemble the parts in reverse order . 1. The Water Line must be fully inserted into the center of the tr ansparent coupler (T ype A) or the Guide Lines (T ype B) to prevent water leakage from the dispenser .

INS T ALLING THE WA TER DISPENSER LINE A water dispenser with a filter is one of the helpful features on your new refriger ator . T o help promote better health, the wat er filter removes unwanted particles fr om your water . However , it does not sterilize or destroy microorganisms.
Connecting the water line to the refriger ator 1. Remove the cap from the water line on the unit and insert the compression nut of the water line into the water line on the unit. 2. Connect the water line on the unit with the water line in the kit . 3.
Installing a SodaStream 60L CO 2 Carbonator T o use the Sparkling Water featur e on your refrigerat or, you need t o install a Sodastream 60L CO 2 Carbonator . Y ou can pick up the SodaStream 60L CO 2 Carbonator at r etailer near you and your first Sodastream CO 2 Carbonator is fr ee.
Installing a Carbonator int o the Refrigerat or T o install a new SodaStream 60L Carbonator in the r efrigerator , follow these steps: 1. Open the CO 2 cylinder cover . • The sparkling water maker is turned o by default. Since the sparkling water mak er is turned o, the “OFF” icon on the display is turned on.
5. The sparkling water concentration is set t o ‘2’ by default. Press the “Sparkling W ater ” button to set the concentr ation to a desired level and press and hold the Quick Sparkling button for 3 seconds to activat e the Fill Up.

Press the Cubed/Crushed Ice butt on to select the type of ice you want dispensed.

Controlling the fridge temper ature Recommend T emp (F ridge) : 3°C The fridge temper ature can be set between 1°C and 7°C to suit your particular needs. Pr ess the Fridge butt on repeatedly until the desired temper ature is shown in the temperatur e display .
Using the Ice & Wat er Dispenser together T o get Ice and water , select the type of ice, then push the Ice/Sparkling lever ( 1 ) first for ice, and then move your glass down and press the water dispenser lever ( 2 ) for water .
Note that the ice cubes in the ice bucket may spill out over the drawer when you remove the ice bucket from the dr awer . If this occurs, be sure to clear the ice cubes that spilled out of the drawer . If a power failure occurs, ice cubes may melt, and then freez e together when the power comes back on, causing the dispenser to stop working.
Ice Maker Do’ s and Don’ts • Do not put your fingers, hands or any other unsuitable objects in the chute or ice-maker bucket - It may result in personal injury or material damage. • Never put your finger or any other objects in the dispenser opening.
Using the Sparkling Wat er Function With a Sodastream CO 2 cylinder installed, your refriger ator can make and dispense sparkling (carbonated) water . Making Sparkling Wat er Pr ess and hold the Quick Sparkling button for 3 seconds to activat e the Fill Up.
Wat er Dripping Some time after you have dispensed sparkling water , a few drops of sparkling water can escape from the dispenser . The water dripping is not a product defect, but a natural r esult of mixing CO 2 and water .
T urning O the Sparkling W ater F unction T o turn o the Sparkling Water function, pr ess the Sparkling Water button for 3 seconds. Any sparkling water remaining in the Sparkling W ater tank after you have turned o the Sparkling Wat er function can still be dispensed.

USING FLEX Z ONE The Flex Z one is a full-width drawer with an adjustable temper ature control. Tilt up the r ear of the bin and lift it out to remove. - T o re-install the freez er drawer : Place the bin into the r ail assembly . Y ou can scratch the side of the bin if you twist it left or right when disassembling or re-assembling it.
Sparkling Wat er: Operational Not es • Be sure to use genuine SodaStr eam Cylinders from authorized r esellers. • The refriger ator starts making sparkling water about 10 seconds after you turn on the Sparkling Wat er Production function. • If you open the refriger ator door while the refriger ator is making sparkling water , it will stop.
CLEANING THE REFRIGERA T OR Caring for your Samsung F rench Door Refrigerator prolongs its life and helps keep it free of odor and germs. Do not use benzene, thinner , Clorox, or car detergent t o clean the refrigerator . They can damage the surface of the appliance and may cause a fire.
Cleaning the Rubber door seals If the rubber door seals are dirty, the doors may not close properly, and the refriger ator will not operat e eciently . Keep the door seals free of dust or stains by cleaning the doors using a mild detergent and damp cloth.
