20 - English C onnections After all connections are complete, plug the power cord in the wall outlet. “Auto” appears in the front panel display . This means that the current time is being set automati- cally through the antenna under connection(Auto Program).
To determine whether your television is compatible, follow the instructions below . 1. Switch your television on. 2. Point the remote control towards the television. 3. Press the TV button and enter the two-figure code corresponding to the brand of your television, by pressing the appropriate number button.

36 - English P layback Playing a Disc This DVD Recorder & VCR can only operate with discs that are compatible with DVD-RAM Standard V ersion 2.0. Playback and/or recording may not work for some types of discs, or when specific opera- tions, such as angle change and aspect ratio adjustment, are being performed.

48 - English P layback Playing a picture CD There are two types of Picture CDs. One is a CD with only JPEG files. The other one is a CD with JPEG files and MP3 files.(mixed CD) 1. When a mixed CD is played, a menu will be shown in order to let you choose which con- tents, either JPEG or MP3, you want to play .

Each time you record a cassette on this DVD Recorder & VCR, an “index” is automatically marked on the tape when recording starts.The Search function allows you to fast-forward or rewind to a specific index and start play- back from that point.
R ecording ■ Finalize - This closes the DVD-R W/-R so no additional recording can be done. ■ Unfinalize - This allows additional recording on a DVD- RW disc originally recorded on the DVD- VR320. - A DVD-RW disc that has been recorded by DAO(Disc At Once) in a PC cannot be unfi- nalized.
