Page 5 RULES FOR SAFE OPERA TION 29. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.
Page 6 1. NEVER USE A DULL SAW BLADE or one that does not have sufficient set. 2. DO NOT REMOVE THE SAW'S BLADE GUARDS. Never operate the saw with any guard or cover re- moved. Make sure all guards are operating properly before each use. 3. MAKE SURE THE MITER TABLE AND SAW ARM (BEVEL FUNCTION) ARE LOCKED IN POSITION BEFORE OPERATING YOUR SAW.

In general, compound miter saws do a better job of cutting crown molding than any other tool made. In order to fit properly, crown molding must be compound mitered with extreme accuracy.
