Befo r e use of this pr oduct, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.
9 ASSEMBL Y UNP ACKING This product r equir es assembly . Carefully r emove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.

Always stop the engine befor e opening the vacuum door or in- stalling/changing tubes. Do not put hands or any other object into the vacuum tubes while they are installed on the unit.

13 ENGINE SWITCH OPERA TION ST ARTING AND STOPPING See Figures 9 - 10. T o start an engine that is cold or has run dry: Fill the fuel tank, if necessary. Always use the proper oil/gasoline mixture. See Mixing the Fuel on page 12. Disengage the cruise control lever.
14 Conserve water by using power blowers instead of hoses for many lawn and garden applications, including areas such as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens. Operate blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to do the job.
15 Fig. 14 V ACUUM OPERA TION See Figure 14. WARNING: Never run the unit without the vacuum tubes, vacuum bag, and vacuum handle installed. Failure to heed this warning could result in serious personal injury . Install the vacuum tubes, vacuum handle, and bag.
16 MAINTENANCE REPLACING AND CLEANING AIR FIL TER See Figure 15. A wet or dirty air filter can affect the way the engine starts, performs, and wears. The air filter should be checked and cleaned after 8 hours of operation. For best performance, the air filter should be r eplaced once each year .
