1 4 Operation 1. LIGHTING PROCEDURE - Lighting procedures are outlined on the label pictured belo w . This label is also located on the water heater near the ther mostat.
1 5 FOR YOUR SAFETY READ BEFORE OPERATING 1. TURN OFF ALL ELECTRIC POWER TO THE APPLIANCE IF SERVICE IS TO BE PERFORMED. 2. SET THE THERMOSTA T TO LOWEST SETTING. TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS B. BEFORE OPERATING smell all around the appliance area for gas.
2. TEMPERA TURE SETTINGS — The thermostat is adjusted to its low est temperature position when shipped from the factory . T o meet com - mercial water use needs, it is adjustable up to 180°F (82°C). How- e ver , water temperatures ov er 125°F (52°C) can cause sev ere bur ns instantly or death from scalds.
