34 2.6 System Configuration Install F inder 1. Run the p roduct CD, t h e followi ng me n u is s h ow n. Clic k ‘Ins t all Find er’. 2. Follow the ins tructions t o ins t all the F in der. Upon s uccessfu l insta l latio n, run the Finder. If t he Finde r is blocked by t h e firewa ll, unblock it.

60 3.4 Video Playback The v ideos o n the NVR can b e pl a y ed by the local display. To use this f eature, clic k on the m on itoring scree n. Most o f the ic on s on the playback scree n are t he same as t hose on the mo n itoring s creen. Please ref er to Chapter 3.

77 4.2.2 Display Mode The NVR su ppor t s differe nt display modes for v iewing the mon i tori n g cha n nels. 4.2.3 PTZ Came r a Contr ol Panel The term ‘PTZ’ stands for ‘ Pan/ Tilt/Zoo m’. If an I P camera sup ports t h e PTZ fea ture, use the control pan el on t he NVR to adj ust t he viewi ng angel of the IP camera.

83 4.2.6 Auto Crui sing The au to cruisi ng featur e of the NVR is used t o co n figure t h e PTZ c ame ras to cr uise accordi ng to the prese t posi tions a nd the s taying t ime set for each prese t pos ition. To use the auto cruising feature, fol low the step s below.

87 4.3 E-map The E-map feat ure of t he NVR i s prov ided to for users to up load e lectronic maps to the system to indica t e t he location s of the IP ca meras. Users can drag and d rop the came ra icons* to t he E- map a nd enab l e eve n t ale rt to re ceive insta n t no t ificatio n w hen an ev ent occurs to the IP camera.
