Keep in mind that the maximum weight capacity includes the combined wei ght of the user and any accessories mounted to the power chair.

Do not attempt to negotiate obstacles with the seat in a reclined position unless an attendant is present to help stabilize the chair.

The power chair should be stowed in the tr unk of a car or in the back of a truck or van with batteries removed and properly secured.

This includes awareness of safety issues when taking prescribed or over-the-counter drugs or when the user has specific physical limitations.

These ba tteries are sealed and maintenance free. Since they are s ealed, there is no need to check the electrolyte (fluid) leve l.

Li ke any motorized vehicle, it requires routine mainte- nance checks. You can perfor m some of these checks, bu t others require assistance from your Quantum Rehab Provider.

The body shroud has been spra yed with a clear sealant coating. You ca n apply a light coat of car wax to help it retain its high-gloss appearance.

Turn off the power to the controller. 2. Set the power chair up on blocks. 3. If you are changing a pneumatic tire, comple tely deflate it befo re removing the wheel.
