Driver information system 32 Alternator fault If the symbol flashes in the instrument clus ter display , there is an alternator fault or a fault in the vehicle's electrical system. In addi- tion, a message will appear . T his message will disappear after about 5 seconds, but you can call it up again at any time by pressing the button.

Driver information system 40 T h e tyre pressure monitoring system makes use of the ABS sensors to compare the rolling circumfe rence and the vibration of the wheels. The display in the instrument clus ter alerts the driv er if changes are detected on one or more wheels.
