You should not have to force it against the handset. The Battery Pack for the SpectraLink 8002 Wireless Telephones has a rounded shape and is black, catalog number BPE101.

There are five menus: Li ne, Favorites, Function (FCN), MENU display, and Standby. Line menu The Line menu allows you to activate a call on a selected line or to view the status of lines.
