Pr eface This User Guide prov ides system operation and setup inform ation for users and administrators o f the Polycom® RSS™ 4000 system. The Polycom® RSS™ 4000 is a network se rver that enable s users to easily record, stream and archiv e media co ntent.

After the file has been dow nloaded successfully, the system's logos will be replaced with the new logos.

Chapter 2 - 2-14 Web User Interface (UI) Backup Setting s Policies There are three options with regard to automatic backup frequency: Never backup – Video files will not be backed up to the FTP server if this is selecte d. Backup after end of recording – Vi deo files will be immediate ly backed up to the FTP server if this is selected.

When it is enabled, Windows Firewall blocks all unsolicited incoming net work traffic on all netw ork connections.

In that case, enter the Product Information page to check that the software currently running on the device meets the minimum version required by the upgrad e package.
