Chapter 1 Introduction Thank you for purchasing WAP-4033PE. The W AP-4033 PE supports both IEEE 802.1 1b a nd IEEE 802.1 1g standards. Y ou can use it to connect an existi ng WLAN, or to build up a new wireless LAN.

3.4.4 WPA RADIUS WiFi Protected Access (WP A) is an advanced se curity standard. Y ou c an use an external RADIUS server to authenticate wireless stati ons and provide the session key to encrypt data during communication. It uses TKIP or CCMP (AES) to change the enc r yption key frequently .
3.5 MAC Filtering For security reason, the MAC Address Filterin g that only allo ws authorized MAC Addresses associating to the Access Point. Parameter Description Enable Wireless Access Control Enable or disable the MAC Address Filterin g function.
3.6 System Utility From here, you can define th e Access Point’s IP Address and Login Password and enable the Access Point to be a DHCP Server . Parameter Description Password Settings Current Password Enter the current password (up to 15-digit alphanumeric string) of the Access Point.
