15 The Auto Cloc k function will automatically set the b uilt- in cloc k (Month, Da y , Y ear and Time) when the D VD/ VCR is connected to an Antenna or Cable system and it is turned off.

20 3 Load a cassette tape with the erase prevention tab intact. The unit will automatically turn on. Set the TV/CABLE option to the appropriate position. 1 2 Press SPEED to select the desired tape speed SP or SLP. The tape counter and SP or SLP will appear on the screen for about 4 seconds.

22 When a MTS STEREO broad- cast is received, the word STE- REO will appear on the screen and the program can be viewed or recorded in stereo. The VHS Hi-Fi audio system permits high fidelity record- ing of MTS STEREO TV broadcasts. NOTES: When playing back a tape that is not recorded in Hi-Fi stereo mode, the audio will automatically be monaural.
23 This unit applies to D VD discs from Region 1 or Region ALL. The loaded Disc (D VD , A udio-CD and CD-R/R W (MP3/WMA/ JPEG-CD)) will be recognized automatically . The suitable Disc-f ormats are: D VD , D VD-R/R W of D VD Video for mat (finalized), A udio-CD , CD-R/RW of CD-D A, MP3, WMA and JPEG format.
24 4 Press PLA Y or D VD OPEN/CLOSE . The disc tra y closes automatically . On the screen, changes to “Reading” and then play- back will commence. •A menu screen ma y appear on the TV screen, if the disc has a menu f eature. In this case, press , , , or ENTER to operate a men u f eature.
25 Use the title, chapter and time recorded on the disc to locate the desired point to play back. To check the title, chapter and time, press DISPLAY . (see page 32) Press Number keys to change the number . • If you input a wrong n umber , press CANCEL .
26 When playing back a disc recorded with multi-angle facility, you can change the angle that you are viewing the scene from. 1 Press ANGLE during playback. The current angle will appear. 2 Press ANGLE repeatedly until the desired angle is se- lected.
27 Repeat Play Mode /Enter/Play Mode : Off : Random 1 Press PLAY MODE in the stop mode. 2 Press / to select “Random”. 3 Press PLAY . “Random Play” will appear on the screen and Random Playback will start. NOTES: • To cancel program play, select “Clear” at step 4 and press ENTER .
