Using the CLI 11 Model 3231 CLI Reference Guide Using the CLI The M odel 3231 may be configured through the CLI, although basic settings should be configur ed through the LCD menu on the unit. Connect a PC and log in U se an RS-232/E thernet cable and DB9-RJ45 adapter to connect a PC’ s serial port to the 3231’ s Console port (see figure 1).
