33 Recording (ENG) VQ T4S33 T aking P ictures with Y our Favorite Settings (Program AE Mode) Recording Mode: The camera automatically sets the shutter speed and the aperture value according to the brightness of the subject. Y ou can take pict ures with greater freedom by changing var ious settings in the [R ec] menu.
34 Recording VQT4S33 (E NG) T aking Pictur es by Specifying the Aperture/ Shutter Speed Recording Mode: Set the apert ure value to a higher number when you want a sharp focus background. Set the aperture value to a lower number when you want a soft focus background.

38 Recording VQT4S33 (E NG) T aking Pictur es using the Automatic Fun ction (Int ell ig ent A uto Mode ) Recording Mode: In this mode, the camera makes the optimal settings for the subject and scene, so we recommend it when you wish to leave the settings to t he camera and record without thinking about them.
39 Recording (ENG) VQ T4S33 Recording Mode: This mode enables you to change t he brightness and color tone to your preferred settings from the ones set by the camera in Intelligent Auto Mode. 1 Press [ ]. 2 Rotate the rear dial to adjust color . • This will adjust the color of the image from a reddish color to a bluish color.

43 Recording (ENG) VQ T4S33 Setting the Light Se nsitivity Applicable modes: This allows the sensitivity to light (ISO sens itivity) to be set. Setting to a higher figure enables pictures to be taken even in dark pl aces withou t the resulting pictures coming o ut dar k.
44 Recording VQT4S33 (E NG) Adjusting the White Bala nce Applicable modes: In sunlight, under incandescent light s or in ot her such conditions wher e the color of white takes on a reddish or bluish tinge, this i tem adjusts to the color of white which is closest to what is seen by the eye in ac cordance with t he light source.

The camera automatically detects the person’s face. The focus and exposure can then be adjusted to fit that face no matter what portion of the picture it is in.

57 Wi-Fi (ENG) VQ T4S33 What you can do w ith the Wi-Fi R function Linking with the W i-Fi compatible equipment allows you to remot ely operate the camera, or share pic tures with people in distant plac es eve n during recording or playing back.

The “LUMIX LINK” is an application provided by Panasonic that allows your smartphone/ tablet to perf orm the following operations of a Wi-Fi-compatible LUMIX.
