V oice Mail Service 21 V oice mail service V o ice mail is an automatic answering service offered by your service provider/ telephone company . After you subscr ibe to this service, your service provider/telephone comp any’s voice mail system answers calls for you when you are unavailable to answer the phone or when your line is busy .
Intercom/Loc ator 22 Intercom Intercom calls can be ma de between handsets. Note: L If you receive a n outside call whil e talking on the intercom, you hear inte rrupt tones. T o answe r the call, press { m } , then press {C} . L When paging the handset , the paged handset beeps for 1 minute .
Useful Information 23 Character entry The dial keys are used to enter charact ers and numbers. Each dial ke y has multiple characters assigned to it. The characters that can be ente red depend on the cha racter entry mode (pa ge 23). – Press { 3 } or { 4 } to move the cursor left or right.
