Introduction 4 Exp anding your phone system Y ou can e xpand your phone system by registering optional handsets (6 max.) to a single bas e unit. L Optional handsets may be a different colour from that of the supplied handsets. Handset (optional): KX-TGA731AZ TG7341NZ(e).

Introduction 6 L Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or term inals unless the telephone line has been disconnected at the network interface. L Use caution when inst alling or modifying telephone lines. L The AC adaptor is used as t he main disconnect device.

T o adjust the receiver or speaker volume , press {^} to increase the volume, or press {V} to decrease the volume repeatedly while talking.

Handset ph onebook 21 Chain dial This feature allows you to dial phone numbers in the phonebook while you ar e on a call. This f eature can be used, for example, to dial a calling card access number or bank account PIN that you have stored in the phonebook, without having to dial manually .

Programming 23 Programmable settings Y ou can customise the unit by programming th e following features using the handset. V oice Mai l Service 37 V oice mail service T o receive Call M inder or Message Mailbox messages, please note the following: “Call Minder” and “M essage Mailbox” are automatic answering services offered by your service provider/ telephone company .
