Chapter 3 39 Machine Disassembly and Replacement IMPORT AN T : The outside housing and color may vary from the mass produced model. This chapter contains step-by-s tep procedures on how to disass emble the notebook computer for maintenance and troubleshooting .
40 Chapter 3 Pre-disassembly Instructions Before proceeding with the disassembly procedure, make su re that you do the following: 1. T urn off the power to the system and all peripherals. 2. Unplug the AC adapter and all power and signal cab les from the system.
Chapter 3 41 Disassembly Process IMPORT AN T : The LCD Module cannot be disassembled outside of facto ry conditions. If any part of the LCD Module is faulty , such as the camera, antenna or LCD panel, the whole module must be replac ed.

Chapter 3 93 LCD Module Reassembly Procedure Replacing the Antennas 1. Adhere the white antenna assembly to the LCD cover . 2. Run the cable along the cable chann el and fold over the foil tabs to secure the cable in place. 3. Run the white antenna along the hing e channel.
