EN-18 Connecting an HDMI source device Examine your V ideo source device to determine if it has a set of un used HDMI output jacks available: If so, you can continue with this procedure. If not, you will need to reassess which method you can use to connect to the device.

EN-21 Operation Powering On/Off the Projector Powering On the Projector: 1. Complete t he AC power cor d and periph eral signal cab le(s) connec tions. 2. Press to turn on the projector . The projector t akes a minute or so to warm up. 3. T urn on your source (computer , notebook, DVD, etc.
EN-22 Adjusting the Projector Height The projector is equipped with an elevator foot to adjust the image height. T o raise or lower the image, turn the el evator foot to fi ne-tune the height. Note T o avo id damaging the proj ector , make sure that t he elevator foot is fully retr acted before placing the proj ector in its carrying case.
EN-23 Adjusting Projection Image Size Refer to the graphic a nd table below to determine the screen size and projection distance. XGA model WXGA model Note Position the pr ojector in a hori zontal positio n; other positions can cause h eat build-up and damage to the projecto r.

EN-41 Appendix Replacing the Lamp As the projector opera tes over time, the brightness of the projector la mp gradually decrea ses and the lamp beco mes more susceptible to breaka ge. We recom mend replacing the lamp if a warning message is displayed.
