5 2 OPERATION Turning Power On and Off Press POWER on the remote control to turn the DCX set-top on or off (standby). Be sure the remote control is in cable mode by pr essing CABLE before pressing POWER . Changing Channels You can change channels in three ways: • Press CHANNEL + or – on the remote control to step through the channel selection.
