12 NEUTON EM 5.1 Cordless Electric Mower Safety & Operating Instructions Assembling Y our NEUT ON Mo wer T o allow you to quic kly begin using your NEUTON Mower , it is shipped to you partially assembled. The assembly process is easy and does not require any special tools, kno wledg e, or strength.

Open the batter y cov er (Figure 2). R emember to press down on the Mo wer body next to the batter y cov er handle before pulling the cov er open.

Step 7: Attac h the Side Discharge Chute or Rear Bag ger The side discharge allows the cut g rass to be properly discharged, which prev ents clog ging . 1. Raise the hinged discharge guard on the back of the mow er . (Figur e 12a) 2. Orient the chute as sho wn in (Figure 12).

Align the black edge of the batter y with the side of the housing where the label reads “Insert batter y with black side along this edge.
