6 XS712T Smart Switch Overview The NETGEAR XS712T Smart Switch provides 12 tw isted-pair port s that support nonsto p 100M/1000M/10G networks. The switch also has two built-in enh anced small form factor pluggable (SFP+) GBIC combo slot s that support 1000M and 10 G optical modules.

10 XS712T Smart Switch F ront P anel and Back P anel Configuration The smart switch has 12 100M/1000M/10G copper port s and two combo 1000 Mbps/10 Gbp s SFP+ fiber ports. Ea ch port is capable of sensing the line speed and negotiating the duplex mode with the link p artner automatically .
