1 1 Chapter 1 Introduction The NI WAP-3701/3711 enables wireless users to access network resources wirelessly. The NI WAP-3701/3711 can authenticate and aut horize wireless users by IEEE 802.

NI WAP-3701/3711 Use r’s Manual Getting Started 2-2 First-Time Installation and Configuration Before installing the NI WAP-3701/3711, check to make sure that all items in the Packag e Checklist are in the box. In a ddition, you will need access t o a notebook computer or PC equi pped with an Ether net port.
