The following sections describe in detail each AI setting. Input Mode The NI 6013/6014 has two input mod es — nonreferenced single-ended (NRSE) mode and differential (DIFF) mode.

Each channel may be program med with a unique gain of 0.5, 1.0, 10, or 100 to maximize the A/D conv erter (ADC) resolution.

Connection of these AI signals to the device depends on the type of input signal source and the configurati on of the AI channels you are using.

If you are using internal ly generated con versions, the first CONVER T * appears when the onboard sample interval counter (SI2) reaches zero.

The counter is started by the ST AR TSCAN signal and cont inues to count down and reload itself until the scan is finished.

Th e onboard scan interval (SI) counter uses SISOURCE as a clock to time the generation of the STARTSCAN si gnal.

There is no minimum frequency limitation. Either the 20 MHz or 100 kHz intern al timebase normally generates UISOURCE unless you select some external source.
