- 1 - INTRODUCTION Thank you for purch asing a DMV-P RO and c ongratu lations! You no w own one of the m ost sophisticat ed pieces of audio si gnal-proc essin g technol ogy ava ilable.
- 2 - INSTALLATION The DMV-PRO may be used in a var iety of setups including wit h mixer c hannel inserts , mixers with reverb send an d return f aciliti es, and i n the ef fect s loop of an instr um ent or P.
- 3 - QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS You’ve unpack ed your DMV -PRO and you’re i n a hurr y to get it u p an d r un ni ng. You pr o bab l y would r ather pl a y wit h it than read t he m anual. Fair enough. Fir st, ch eck out the basic s, outl ined her e, jus t to get your DMV-PRO on- line.
- 4 - called Dr y Kill that wil l convenient ly turn off the dry signal p ath inside the u nit. Each pres et’s Mix v alue is st ill retained, ev en though all dry sou nd is elim inated. To enable Dr y Kill, turn on the DM V-PRO and pr ess the MIDI/Util but ton.
- 5 - TRY IT OUT: Turn on your am p or m ixer and m onitor am plifier . Make s ure that your m ixer’s or am p’s send le vel c ontrol is turne d up a nd that a signal is bein g s ent to the DMV-PRO.

- 14 - TUTORIAL The best wa y to unders tand the DM V-PRO is just to j ump in a nd edit som e presets. It do esn’t take lo ng and you’ll see how eas y edit ing is d ue to the DM V-PRO ’s intu itive la yout.
- 15 - Cascad e Cascade ro uting a lso has two eff ects with two linked engi nes, but t he outpu t of the f irst gr oup is fed into the second. In this routi ng, you ha ve t wo stack ed, true-stereo ef fec ts. Only Inputs and Outputs # 1 and #2 ar e us ed.

- 17 - Repeatedl y press th e Routin g button u ntil t he Disc rete 4 Rout ing LED is lit. O bserve b oth LCDs. Again, the DMV-PRO has loaded def ault eff ects for Disc rete 4 routing, but notice that t here are no w two effec ts in each LCD. Look at LCD ( A).

- 19 - As you can see, the editin g operation is sim ple: T urn the enc oder to select a param eter, pres s and tur n the encoder t o change the param eter’s value, press and turn to s elect an other par ameter , press and turn to change the new param eter’s value, and so on .
