Sooting and other pr oblems ma y result if the logs are not pr operly and firml y positioned in the appliance. Never add ad ditional logs or embellishments suc h as pine cones, vermiculite or r ock w ool to the heater .
24 14D2099 FLAME APPEARANCE Flames fr om the pilot, fr ont and rear burner should be visuall y checked as soon as the heater is installed. In addition, periodically check the flames visually during operation. CHECKING THE PILO T FLAME The pilot flame must al wa ys be present when the heater is in operation.
