Bef ore prepar ing coffee in y our new coff eemaker , thoroughly clean the Caraf e, Caraf e Lid and Remov able Filter Bask et in warm, soapy w ater .
7 Bre wing Instructions 1. Place the Thermal Coffeemak er on a flat, lev el surf ace. Plug the unit into a 120V , AC electrical outlet. 2. Press the Filter Lid Release Button to open the Hinged Filter Lid. 3. Place a #4 cone-shaped paper filter into the Remo vab le Fil- ter Basket.
8 9 . Upon completion of the bre w cycle, w ait until dripping has stopped bef ore removing the Caraf e. The Caraf e Lid should be kept in place to f acilitate saf e ser ving and help keep coff ee at proper ser ving temperature . Y ou ma y wish to remov e the Ther mal Caraf e to a more conv enient location.
9 Hints f or Great T asting Coff ee • A clean Coff eemaker is essential f or making great tasting coff ee. Regular cleaning, as specified in User Maintenance Instructions is highly recommended.
