-8- Oper ating Instructions 1. The f ilter pump will prime itself as long as it is positioned at least 8 inches belo w the highest w ater le vel in the pool. I f for some reason an airlock occurs, there is a relief v alve loca ted on the top of the pump .
-9- G ener al M aintenanc e 1. T o a v oid dangerous or fatal elec trical shock hazard , al w a ys disconnect po w er to the unit before att empting to clean pump . 2. There is no need f or an y regular mechanical maint enance on the pump unit. (Do not attempt to disassemb le the pump motor at any time.
-10- Cleaning and Replacemen t 1. As a general rule, the f ilter car tridge in y our pump f ilter syst em should be replaced appr o ximatel y once per month. This will v ar y depending on usage hours b y bathers, number of bathers , and the amount of time the f ilter system is run without bathers on a dail y basis.
