5 T ouch Control Panel The Touch Control Panel allows you to set the oven controls with the touch of a finger. It’s designed to be easy to use and understand. 1 1 . DISPLAY - Displays time of day, time or temperature during cooking functions, power level being used, cooking mode and instructions.

Each power level gives you microwave energy for a certain percent of time, for example, power level 7 is microwave energy 70% of the time.

11 Operating Basics Defrost by T ime Guide (Power Level 3) 1. Do not defrost covered meat. Covering might allow cooking to take place. Always remove outer wrap and tray. Place food on a microwave-safe rack in a dish. 2. Begin defrosting whole poultry breast-side-down.

14 To Program Favorite Choice Signal Sound, Scroll Speed and Clock Display: Touch FAVORITE CHOICE Pad four times “PROG-4 SELECT TYPE ENTER 1-6” will be displayed. To Change Signal Sound: ◆ Touch number pad 1. “BUZZER ON” will be displayed. Touch CANCEL/OFF Pad.
15 Special Features More or Less Time Adjustment You may increase or decrease any of the pre-set settings for the ONE TOUCH COOKING FEATURES except the SNACK feature if you prefer more or less cooking time. To Adjust the Pre-set Settings: 1. Touch the POWER Pad once to increase the time by 20 seconds or twice to decrease the time by 20 seconds.
16 For best cooking results, leave the turntable on. When using larger dishes, it can be turned off. ◆ Press TURNTABLE Pad to turn the turntable on or off.
17 Special Features Basic Instructions 1 . Touch the VENT FAN Pad once for HIGH speed. The Display will scroll “HIGH VENT FAN”. 2 . Touch the VENT FAN Pad twice for LOW speed. The Display will scroll “LOW VENT FAN”. 3. Touch the VENT FAN Pad three times for turning vent fan off.
18 Care and Cleaning Oven Exterior Wipe the outside of your oven with a soapy cloth, rinse and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners. They may scratch the surface. Light Compartment Clean off the grease and dust on the light compartment cover on the bottom side of the microwave oven often with warm water and detergent.
19 Care and Cleaning The Exhaust Feature T o Remove Grease Filter To remove grease filter, grasp the “finger hold” on the filter and slide to the rear. Then pull filter downward and to the front. The filter will drop out. T o clean Grease Filter To clean grease filters, soak and then agitate filter in solution of hot water and detergent.
