6 HOW TO REMO VE AND INST ALL THE REFRIGERA TOR DOORS If entrance is lees than 35 inche s wide, the r efrigerator’s door will need to be r emoved. IMPORT ANT : Befor e starting, turn off and unplug the refrigerat or . R emove all food and the r acks fr om the doors.
7 ţ T o r eplace doors, begin with refrigerator door and then follo w with free zer door . 3. Replacing Refrigerator Door ţ Se t door on Bott om Hinge Pin (See Figure 7). ţ Plac e hinge pin o f middle bracke t inside the hinge pin insert on the top of the door (See Figur e 8).
8 HOW T O REVERSE AND INST ALL THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS Y ou may find it more convenient to have the doors converted fr om the left opening type (factory installed) to the right opening t ype. Directions r ef er to the right side as the side on your right as you face the unit .
9 2. R eversing and Reinst alling Refrigerat or Door Using a ¼” socke t wr ench, loosen and remov e Hinge Pin fr om the Middle Hinge Bracket . R emove washer underneath the middle hinge and set aside. NO TE: A t this point the door will be loose. Slightly lift the door and remove it .
10 T ake out the Hinge Pin Insert and move the Brack et to the o ther side o f the door , keeping the same orientation. Place the Hinge Pin Insert into the left side of the bracket .
11 Tight en the bolts. F orce-fit T op Hinge Cover over T op Hinge. Replac e cover on the t op left side of the refriger ator to the right t op to cov er the holes. Cov er is also for ce-fitted. After changing doors, make sure that the corners of the Door Gasket s are not folded over .
12 CL OSING AND ALIGNING THE DOORS T o avoid vibration, the unit must be lev eled. If neces sar y , adjust the L eveling Legs to compensate f or unevennes s of the floor . The front should be slightly higher than the rear t o aid in door closing. Y our r efrigerator has thr ee front leveling scr ews, one on the right and one on the left .
13 ENSURING PROPER AIR CIR CULA TION In order t o obtain stable temperatur e, the air must flow between the freez er and refrigerator sections. As shown in the illustration belo w , the cold air enters thr ough the bottom part and circulat es upwar d.
14 ADJUSTING CONTROL SETTINGS Give the refrigera tor time to cool down completely bef ore adding food. It is best t o wait 2 4 hours befor e adding food to the refrigerator . The mid-settings indicated in the previous section should be corr ect f or normal household refrigerat or usage.

16 REFRIGERA TOR SHEL VES The glass shelve s in y our refrigera tor ar e adjustable to meet y our individual storage needs. Adjusting the shelves to fit diff erent heights of it ems will make finding the exact item you want easier . Doing so will also r educe the amount of time the refrigera tor door is open which will save ener gy .
17 HUMIDITY CONTROLLED CRISPERS The crispers provide fre sher tasting fruit and vegetables by letting y ou easily control humidit y inside the drawer . Y ou can contr ol the amount o f humidity in the moisture sealed crispers by adjus ting the control to any setting between VE GET ABLES and FRUIT .
18 W ARNING EXPL OSION HAZARD Do not use flammable cleaners. Not following the se instructions can cause death, explosion or fire. The refrigerator , as well as the freez er , do their own de-fr eezing.
19 POWER INTERRUPTIONS 1. In case of a black out, c all your electric company and ask how long it will las t . 2. In case of a 2 4 hour or less black out , do no t open the refrigerat or; this will keep the f ood fr esh.
20 NO TE: The automatic Ice maker is only included in s ome models. Check y our specifications of y our refrigerator . W ARNING PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD A void contact with any moving par ts of the ejector mechanism or with the heater that releases the ice cubes.

22 3. DRILL A HOLE F OR THE V AL VE Drill a 1/ 4” (6,35 mm) diameter hole in the water pipeline. Remo ve jagged edges pr oduces after perforation. Make sure water does not r each the drill. Not performing the 1/ 4” (6,35 mm) perforation can lead to a low or smaller ice production.

2 4 UNDERST ANDING SOUNDS Y OU MA Y HEAR Y our new r efrigerator may make sounds that your old one did not mak e. Most of the new sounds ar e normal. Hard surfaces, like the floor , walls and cabinets, can make the sounds seem louder than they actually are.
