7 C O O K T O P U S E C o o k t o p C o n t r o l s IMPORT AN T : Y our cooktop is fact ory-set for use with Natural gas. If you wish to use LP Gas, an LP Gas Conversion Kit is included with your new range. M odels with the T ripleTier ® Flame Burner will include a T ri pleTier ® Burner LP Gas Conversion Kit and a kit for standard ra nges.
8 Use the following chart as a gu ide when setting Simmer Burner heat levels. M ed iu m a nd S m al l B u rn e r Co n tr o l NOTE: Settings are marked on the control knob. All of the burner controls provide a range of coo king s ettings from HI to LO.
9 T o U se th e I ns ta W ok ™ Gr at e: 1. Check that the contr ol knob is in the OFF po sition and the grate is completely cool bef ore handling. 2. Remove grate from cooktop and flip the grate over so t hat the wok supports ar e pointing up. 3. Place the wok grate within the supports.
10 T o Cl e a n: IMPORT AN T : Before cleaning, mak e sure all contr ols are of f and the oven and c ooktop are coo l. Do not use oven cleaners, bleach or rust remov ers. 1. Remove the burner cap fr om the burner base and clean according to “G eneral Cleaning” section.

12 T i m e r The Timer can be set in minutes and seconds or hours and minutes and counts dow n the set time. NOTE: The Timer does not start or stop the oven. 1. Pr ess TIMER SET/ST ART . Press again to switch from MIN/SE C and HR/MIN. 2. Pr ess the number pads to set length of time.

14 T emperature Change The oven temperatu re can be changed when the oven(s) ar e in the Sabbath Mode. No tones will sound, and the display will not change. The heating elements will not turn on or of f for a random time, anywher e from 16 to 24 seconds.
15 M e a t T h e r m o m e t e r On models without a temp erature probe , use a meat thermometer to determine donenes s of meat, poultry and fish. The internal temperature, not appeara nce, should be used to determine doneness. A meat thermometer is not s upplied with this appliance.

24 O v e n D o o r For normal range use, it is not suggested to remove the oven door . However , if removal is necessary , make sure the o ven is off and cool. Then, follow these instructions. The oven door is heavy . T o R e m ov e: 1. Open oven door all the way .
