8 Before Use Before operating the Foo d Processor , be sure the work bowl, blades, and work bowl cover are properly assembled on the F ood Processo r base (see “Preparing the F oo d P ro ce ss or fo r U se ” s ta rt in g o n p ag e 6 ). 14 1. T o avoid damage to the blade or motor , do not process food that is so hard or firmly frozen that it cannot be pierced with the tip of a sharp knife. If a piece of hard food, such as a carrot, becomes wedged or stuck on the blade, stop the processor and remove the blade.
