6 CAUTION Some models are equipped with a blow er which runs in baking and self-cleaning mode to keep all internal components at a c ool temperature. The blow er may k eep running ev en if the o v en has been turned o, until the components have cooled down.

For satisfactory use of y our ov en, become familiar with the various featur es and functions of the ov en as describe d belo w . 9 Setting Kitchen Timer The pad controls the Kitchen Timer featur e. The Kitchen Timer serves as an e xtra timer in the kitchen that will beep when the set time has run out . It does not start or stop cooking. The Kitchen Timer feature can be used during an y of the other ov en control functions, e xcept during a self-clean oper ation.
10 Setting Ov en Lockout Featur e The pad controls the Ov en Lockout feature. T he Oven Lock out feature automatically locks the o ven door and pr events the ov en from being turned on. It does not disable the clock, Kitchen Timer or the interior ov en lights.
11 Setting T emperatur e Display — Fahrenheit or C elsius The and pads contr ol the Fahrenheit or C elsius temper ature display modes. T he ov en control can be pr ogrammed to display temperatur es in Fahrenheit or Celsius. T he ov en has be en pr eset at the factory to display in Fahrenheit .
12 Setting Ov en C ontrols T o set the Pr eheat temperatur e for 350°F 1. Arrange the interior o ven racks. 2. Pr ess . 3. Pr ess . " 350 " , the default ov en temperature set , will appear in the display (Fig. 1). 4. Pr ess . " BAKE " will appear in the display .

14 Setting Ov en C ontrols Ov en Baking For best cooking r esults, heat the o v en before baking cookies , breads, cak es , pies or pastries, etc. Ther e is no need to preheat the o ven for r oasting meat or baking casser oles. The cooking times and temperatur es needed to bak e a product may vary slightly from your pr eviously owned appliance.
15 Setting C ook Time The and pad controls the C ook Time fe atur e. This featur e can be set with any any Bak e, Con v Bake, C on v Roast , Preheat, Slo w Cook, C akes or Br eads functions. The automatic timer of the C ook Time feature will turn the o ven o after cooking for the desired amount of time y ou selected.
16 Setting Delay Star t The pad controls the Delay Star t fe atur e. This featur e can be set with an y an y Bak e , C onv Bake , Con v R oast, Preheat , Slow Cook, C akes or Br eads functions. The automatic timer of the Delay Start feature will turn the ov en on at the time y ou select in advance.
17 Setting Ov en C ontrols Setting Broil The pad controls the Broil featur e. When broiling , heat radiates down war d fr om the o ven broiler for even cov erage.
18 Setting the Food C ategories Fe atur es The and pads may be used when cooking certain food items. These pads have been designed to giv e optimum cook performance for the foods selected in e ach category . T o Set the Food C onvection R oast feature at 375°F 1.
19 1/ 2 Using and Setting Meat Probe Checking the internal temperatur e of your food is the most eectiv e way of insuring that y our food has been properly cooked. W hen cooking meat such as roasts , hams or poultr y y ou can use the meat probe to check the internal temper ature without any guessw ork.
20 Using and Setting Meat Probe T o use the meat probe: 1. Pr epare the food and pr operly insert the temperatur e probe into the food. DO NO T PREHEA T or start cooking before properly inserting the meat pr obe. The pr obe should be inserted into the food and receptacle while the o ven is still cool.
21 T o set the o ven for Con vection Bake and temper ature to 350°F 1. Arrange interior o ven racks and place food in o ven. 2. Pr ess . 2. Pr ess (Fig. 3). 4. Pr ess . The actual o ven temper ature will be displayed. Note: The o ven icon will appear and the r otating fan will start running in the display .

23 Setting the Slo w Cook Featur e The pad is used to activate this featur e. The Slo w Cook featur e may be used to cook foods more slo wly , at lo wer ov en temperatures and pr ovides cooking results much the same w ay as a Slow Cook er or Crock-P ot .
24 Setting Ov en C ontrols Setting the W arm & Hold™ Feature The pad turns ON the W arm & Hold feature and will maintain an ov en temper ature of 170°F (77°C). The W arm & Hold feature will k eep o v en bak ed foods warm for ser ving up to 3 hours after cooking has nished.
25 T o Set the Sabbath Fe atur e (for use on the Jewish Sabbath & Holidays) The and pads are used to set the Sabbath feature. The Sabbath featur e may only be used with the pad.
26 T o Set the Recipe Recall Featur e This featur e will ONL Y r ecall a Bake , Con vection Bake , Cak es, Breads, C onv ection roast , Slow C ook, C ook Time or a Cook Time with a W arm & Hold added setting. This feature will not w ork with any other function including a Delay Start , a Cle an C ycle or a Broil setting.
27 CAUTION During the self-cleaning cycle , the outside of the wall o ven can become very hot to the touch. DO NOT leave a small childr en unattended near the appliance. CAUTION The health of some bir ds is extr emely sensitive to the fumes giv en o during the self-clean cycle of an y wall o ven.
28 Self-Cleaning T o Start the Self-Cle an C ycle The CLEAN pad contr ols the Self-Cleaning fe atur e. If y ou are planning to use the ov en directly after a self-clean cycle remember to allow time for the o ven to cool down and the o ven door to unlock.
29 Self Cleaning T o adjust the o ven temperatur e 1. Pr ess . 2. Pr ess and hold for 6 seconds. The pr eset adjustment number will appear and " UPPER " will ash in the display (Fig. 1). 3. T o incr e ase the temper ature use the number pads to enter the desired change.

REMO VE SPILLO VERS AND HEA VY SOILING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. REGULAR CLEANING NOW WILL REDUCE THE EXTENT AND DIFFICUTY OF MAJOR CLEANING LA TER.

32 Halogen Light Bulb Lift up and pull out . Changing the Ov en Light Changing the Halogen Oven Light (some models) The ov en lights will automatically turn ON when the ov en door is opened. The o ven lights may also be manually operated b y pressing the pad.
