It can eith er be rack- mounted i n a standa rd 19 -inch equipment r ack (for examp le, in a wirin g closet or equipme nt r oom) or place d fr ee-stan ding on a desk, table , or count er .
Rack-mou nting the EPS 21 Rack-mounting the EPS The EP S is 1. 5U hig h (1 U equals 3 .8 cm (1.5 inc hes)) and fit s in mo st standar d 19-inch equipme nt racks. CAUTIO NS: ■ Before you conn ect the brack ets or mount the unit in the rack, disconne ct all cables and power from the EPS .
