7 The control panel All the dishwasher controls are grouped on the upper panel. Switch-on , programming, switch-off etc. procedures are only possible when the door is open.
8 Setting mode To select th e most suitab le programme for the dishes to be washed r efer to the table below, which indicat es the most appropriate programme ac cording to dish type and degree of soiling.
9 Washing programmes Before starting a washing programme make sure that: - The water supply tap is ope n. - The correct amount of deterg ent has been added to the di spenser. - The baskets have been correc tly loaded. - The spray arms are able to r otate freely and without obst ruction.
10 Changin g the prog ramme To change the programme i n progress, simply open the door and select a new programme. When the d oor is closed the dishwasher will automatica lly select the new programme. If the door has to be opened wh ile washing is in progress, th e programme will be interrupted.

12 Adjusting the water softening system (available in all progra mmes except the soak programme) For the setting be low to be possi ble, a washing programme other than the soak programme must be s et. 14 Adjusting the rinse aid dosage According to the finish and drying results obtained, adjust the dos e of rinse aid by turning the dispenser's selec tor to the desired position (min-max ): the amount of rinse aid dispensed is proport ional to the selector position.

16 Using the baskets The dishwasher has a cap acity of 10 place- settings, including servi ng dishes. Lower basket The lower basket rec eives the full force of the lower spray arm, and should therefore be used for the "toughes t" items with a heavier degree of soili ng.
17 Cutlery basket The cutlery should be arran ged in an orderly manner inside th e basket, with the handles pointing downw ards. Take care during loading t o avoid injury from the knife blades. The b asket is suitable for all types of cutlery, except those long enough to interfere with the upper spray arm.
18 Upper basket It is rec ommended to load th e upper basket with small- or medium-sized items such as glasses, small plates, tea o r coffee cups, shallow bowls and light obj ects made from heat resistant plastic.
19 Adjusting the upper basket The upper basket can b e adjusted in two positions , according to the user's ne eds and according to the h eight of the dishes in the lower basket.
20 3. All programmes wit h prewash need an additional detergent dose (5/10 g) that must be placed in the prewash detergent chamber (2). Th is detergent will be used during the pre wash phase. When u sing detergent t ablets; place t he tablet in compartment (1).

23 Something not worki ng The dishwasher will not sta rt or stops during operation. Certain problems are due to the lack of simple maint enance or oversights, which can be solv ed with the help of the indications described, without calling out an engineer.

27 Proceed as follows: Remove the machine’s worktop by unscrewing the two rear reta ining screws (1), pull the worktop from the back of the machine (2) and slide o ut the front slots, lifting the worktop (3). Insert the machi ne after adjusting the levelling with the adjustable feet.
28 Water connections Water inlet connection This appliance must be co nnected to a cold water supply. For making the connection i tself, the coupling nut fitted to t he machine’s inlet hose is designed to screw ont o a 3/4" gas thread spout or to a purp ose made quick- coupling tap such as the P ress-block.
29 Water drain connection The end of the drain hos e can be connected in the followi ng ways: 1. To the sink outlet spi got, securing it to the underside of the work surface. This will prevent waste wat er from the sink running into the mach ine. 2. To a stand pipe provided wi th venthole, minimum internal diameter 4 cm.
30 Electrical connect ion Warning! Safety standards require the appliance to be earthed. P rior to using the applian ce for t he first time, ensure that the rated voltage and type of supply on the ratin g plate match that of the supply where the appliance is to be installed .
