4 Parameter progra mming 4.1 Programming from a telephone by DT MF 4.1.1 Entering progra mming mode The SlimDoorPhone ma y be set to programm ing mode in two w ays: 1. by passw ord – d ial the unit‘s num ber (eit her extension number, if connected to a PBX or telephone number, if co nnected to a PSTN line) .
Note 1 . i f you wish to maintain the connection in programming mode (i.e. ex tend the 34 seconds pe riod) then it is necessary to o ccasionally press a key (e.g. * , # or 7). The unit will respond with an error tone but the connection will be kept alive.
