6 Overview With the revolutionary Plug-and- Show wireless pr ojection, QuadView , and wi reless projection via PDA, LiteShow makes all of your presentations and meetings more eff icient and succes sful. Features Compatible with Windows 7 , Vista, XP , Windows 2000, Windows Mobile 5/6, and Macintosh (Mac) version 10.
7 Initial Set-up 1) Connect power to LiteShow module, and connect a VGA cable from the projecto r to the LiteShow VGA connector . If desired, audio can also be connected to the LiteShow A udio connector . 2) T urn on the proj ector and Li teSho w modu le.
8 6) Dow nload the client software that corresponds to your operating system and click Run to execute the installation progra m. 7) Once installation is complete, a LiteShow shortcu t wi ll ap pea r on you r De sktop.
9 Windows Client Utility Launch Application After you successfully do wnload the LiteShow Windows client, follo w the steps below to start the program. 1) Click the LiteShow shortcut. 2) Select the network you want to proj ect over, and then the LiteShow module you wish to use.

11 Projection Audio Notes: LiteShow c an redir ect y our c omputer’ s audio to the pr ojector using an opt ional driver , “V AC.exe ” . T o enable audio projection, you must f irst install VAC.ex e ( located on the USB token which came with your LiteShow or downloaded from the InF ocus web site).

13 Projection Quality Allows you to toggle between “Normal” for faster projection speed with lower screen image quality (default setting) and “Best” for clear screen image quality , but with slower projection speed.
14 Auto WiFi Conne ct When Auto WiFi Connect is selected, the LiteShow application wi ll search out and list all available wireless networks and automatically switch to the selecte d network before sear ching for av ailable LiteS how modu les.
15 Make PnS Token Creates a duplicate USB LiteShow T oken. Y ou can insert a USB thumb drive and follow the Setup Wizard to mak e the T oken. Users can execute the LiteShow application directly from the T oken, avoiding t he need for guests to install the application.
16 Windows Mobile Utility Download From Device 1) Verify that your Smart phone or PDA’s wir ele ss co nnection is enabled and connect to the LiteShow wireless network .
17 Using MobiShow with a Smartphone 1) Open “Programs” on your phone and f ind the “MobiS how” application. 2) Click th e MobiShow shortcut to launch the client software. 3) Mob iShow will turn on Wi-Fi on you r phone and list the available Wireless Networks.
18 Screen Projection: MobiShow will project anything displayed on your screen . Y ou may la unch another application (such P owerPoint Viewer) or open any f ile (such as a W ord document or JP G image) and it will be projected on the projector .
19 Photo Slideshow MobiShow can be used to project photos stored on your phone. Notes: Photos wi ll be re size d for playback on a large screen, rather than for a sm all cell phone screen, therefore the resolution quality will be very noticeable when the photos are projected.
20 Mac Client Utility Launch Application 1) Click the LiteShow shortcut. 2) Select the network you want to proj ect over, and then the LiteShow module you wish to use. 3) If the LiteShow module is found, a Login Code dialog box will be displayed on your projector.

24 Web Management Home Page 1) Ensure your computer has su ccessfully connected to LiteShow. 2) Open your web browser. It should automatically open to the LiteShow home page. If not, enter the IP address shown on the projector screen in your browser w indow.
25 Download Av ailable to all users, regardless of which login is used . 1) Choose Softwa re Download from the left-hand menu. 2) Select the appropriate download from the list of choices, based on your operating system, and click Down loa d to start the installation program.
26 System Status Av ailable to all users, regardless of which login is used . This page displays a v ariety of network - related information, including the IP address of Lite Show . The System Status page also shows whether LiteSh ow is currently projecting and how man y users are currently connected to the device.
27 Modera tor Contro l Av ailable only to users logged in as either Basic or Admin Users. Moderator Control allows you to easily change presenters and to disp lay up to four presentations at one time.

29 Network Setup The default setting of the LiteShow box is DHCP client. When the LiteShow mo dule is connected to a LAN that already has a DHCP server presen t, the LiteShow module takes an IP address assigned to it by the server.
30 Wireless Client Setup The Wirele ss Client feature allo ws LiteShow to connect to the corporate netwo rk as a wireless client rathe r than through the RJ45 wired connection. Enable/ Disable: T o setup LiteShow as a wireless client, choose “Enable.
31 OSD Setup Allows you to customize the LiteShow standby image with a personal image and/or restore the original standby image. Note: T o def in e a custom image, you must conve rt the image using the IB Maker Utility located on the LiteShow USB token (and at www.
32 Change Password Allows the user to reset the passwords for Basic User and/or Admin User . Reset to Defa ult R estores LiteShow to f actory default settings. Alternatively , factory default settings can also be restored as follows: 1) T urn off the LiteShow module.
33 Firmware Update Used for updating the f irmware of LiteShow . T o update your LiteSh ow f irmware: 1) Connect the LiteShow device to y our networ k RJ45 connector befo re updating. (Do not update wirelessly . ) 2) Download the latest f irmware image f ile (*.

35 Appendix A: Screen Image Bac k ground Maker 1) Download the IBmaker1201.exe f ile from the LiteShow USB token or from the InF ocus website at: www .infocus.com/support . 2) Once installed, the Image Background Maker will reside in the MobiShow folder within Pro gr ams.

38 Appendix B: Using PtG Converter 1. Download the PtG Conv erter .exe f ile from the LiteShow USB tok en or from the I nF ocus website at: www .infocus.com/support . 2. Once installed, the converter will reside in the MobiShowMobiShow PtG Converter folder within Progr ams.
39 Appendix C: LiteShow Port Map LiteShow uses the f ollowing ports f or network tr aff i c. It may be necessary for the net work administrator to conf igure the network to pass broadcast packets on ports 1047 , 1048, and 1049 to enable the LiteShow application to correctly discov er LiteShow modules on a complex network.
