ThurayaIP Satellite Modem User Guide 1 Introduction Your Thuraya IP is a Satellite Modem that provides portable, high-speed data communications v ia satellite.
2 ThurayaIP Satellite Modem User Guide Software Installation and Configuration Your PC must support an Ethernet , USB or Wireless LAN interface to operate with Thuraya IP . The CD ROM contains USB drivers for Windows 2000, XP, Vista and MAC OS10.3 and la ter operating sys tem s.
ThurayaIP Satellite Modem User Guide 3 S TEP 1: SIM I NSERTION 1. Unpack the modem and accessories. Your se rvice provider will have pro vided you w i th a SIM card. 2. Insert SIM provided by your Service Provider into the SI M holder inside the battery compartment as shown.

Note that the “384 Kb ps” selectio n req uires an external antenna.
