24 Chapter 1 Product Inf or mation Rear P anel Components USB Connectors The USB connectors located on the rear panel of the workstation pr ovid e interfaces for the keyboard and mouse to the sys tem. These USB connectors support only the HP keyboard, HP mouse, USB hub, or other HP-recommended US B devices .
Chapter 1 25 Product Inf or mation Rear P anel Compone nts Audio Connectors The B2000 workstation has audio-input and -output capabilities through external input and output conne ctors on t he rear panel and t hrough an internal speaker . The sound is 16-bit, 44 kHz ( CD-quality).
26 Chapter 1 Product Inf or mation Rear P anel Components Security Loop There is also a security loop on the rear panel of the B2000 workstation. The security loop allows you to loc k the works tation ’ s left side panel, thus securing the inte rnal components of the workst ation.

Memory can be configured f rom 256 MB to 2 GB for the B2000 workstation. Memory does not ha ve to be configur ed in pairs fo r the B2000, but must be loaded in t he order shown in F igure 2-2.
