1 Setting Up and Using Your PC Start ing and S topping Your PC 10 English Starting the PC for the First Time If your PC has pre installed software, it is initialized the first time yo u start the PC. The software initialization process takes approxim ately three minutes.

HP recommends that you use new diskettes. If y ou need to restore the preloaded software on your PC, you can use these diskettes to do so.
