CONT INUED T he dri ver’s ad vanced f ron t airbag system includes a sea t position sensor under t he sea t . If the sea t is t oo f a r f or wa rd, t he a irba g will inf lat e with less f orce, regardless of the severit y of t he im pact.
Whe n the passenge r air bag get s t urned of f by the w eight sensor s, a ‘‘pa ssenger air bag of f ’’ indicat or in th e ce n ter o f the d ash b o ard c o m es on (s ee page ). T he pa ssenger’ s adv anced f ront airbag system has w eigh t senso rs under t he sea t .
CONT INUED Only one a irbag w ill deploy during a side impac t. If t he impa ct is on t he passenger’s side, t he passenger’s side airb ag will depl oy even if there is no passe nger.
