FIRST TIME USE 7 T urning Angle The maximum turning angle is 30° (left and right). Do not place any objects in the path of the television when using the power swivel feature. Do not block the ventilation holes of the Plasma • T elevision. Blocking the ventilation holes might cause re or defect.

12 Quic k Setup Guide Perform the following steps to quickly setup your new Hitachi Plasma T elevision Set. 1. ANTENNA CONNECTION Unless your Plasma T elevision is connected to a cable TV system or to a centralized antenna system, a good outdoor color TV antenna is recommended for best performance.

Side panels (gray areas) are placed to the left and right of the image to preserve the original aspect ratio of the source. Note: Use this mode for only 15% of your total viewing time to prevent uneven aging of the phosphors.
