8 PP38+ Pellet Stove 3-90-08422R27_09/12 V enting V enting A combustion blower is used to extract the combustion gases from the rebox. This causes a negative pressure in the rebox and a positive pressure in the venting system as shown in Fig.
9 PP38+ Pellet Stove 3-90-08422R27_09/12 Per national building codes, consideration must be given to combustion air supply to all combustion appliances. Failure to supply adequate combustion air for all appliance demands, may lead to back-drafting of those and other appliances.

The vertical portion of the vent should be three to ve feet high and at least three inches from a combustible wall.

15 PP38+ Pellet Stove 3-90-08422R27_09/12 OPERA TION The PP38+ features two operating modes; Stove T emperature Mode and Room T emperature Mode . In Stove T emperature Mode, you select a burn rate and the stove will remain at the same burn rate regardless of the room temperature.

T urn FEED ADJUSTER to desired feed rate . No. 4 is good for most pellets. 4 2. T urn the MODE SELECT OR to “OFF” and then to the desired mode.

The chimney or venting system should be inspected periodically throughout the heating season to determine if a creosote buildup has occurred.
