If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install a polarized outlet.

Page 5 SKU 46055 Jigsaw Specific Safety Rules 1. Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a ‘liv e’ wire will make e xposed metal par ts of the tool ‘liv e’ and shock the operator .

Page 7 SKU 46055 EXTENSION CORDS 1. Grounded tools require a three wire extension cord. 2. As the distance from the supply outlet increases, you must use a heavier gauge extension cord. Using extension cords with inadequately sized wire causes a serious drop in voltage, resulting in loss of power and possible tool damage.

Loosen the Bolt on the Blade Clamp (#21) with the Hex Spanner (#32) . Refer to Figure 1 . 2 . Inser t the end (with holes) of the Blade betw een the Blade Stock and the Blade Clamp .
Page 9 SKU 46055 Blade Mounting (Continued) 3. The Ball or guide must be positioned before use . See Figure 2. 4. Using the H ex Spanner (#32) , loosen the Bolt on the bottom plate. Refer to Figure 2. 5. Slide the positioner so that the Ball is touching the b lade.

Metal heats up quic kly when cutting due to blade friction. T o av oid ruining your bl ade and insure a clean cut, use cutting oil (not included) as a cooling agent.
