Installation 309301G 15 Install the Fluid Supplies The ProDispense f luid panels can be suppli ed by pressure tanks , pail or drum pumps , or cen- tral r ecirculating lines . The fluid supply mu st be free of pressure spik es , commonly caused b y a pump strok e changeov er .
Installation 16 309301G Mount the Fluid P anel(s) Mount the fluid panel( s) on a flat, sturdy surface. Install 1/4” o r M6 fasteners in the four 0.28” mounting holes (C1) and secure the fluid pa nel (C) to the mounti ng surf ace. Conn ect a ground wire (G) as in structed on page 20.

Installation 20 309301G Gr ound the System ProDispense Contr oller: Connect a ground wire (G1) to the grounding lug (H1) on the bottom of the controller . Connect the other end of the g round wire to a true earth ground. Fluid P anels: Connect a g round wire (G) to the grounding lug (H ) on the junction bo x br ac ket.

Setup Mode 309301G 25 Setup Mode Screen Navigation T o enter Setup Mode: Y ou must ha v e the ke y supplied wit h the system. Insert the ke y into the s witch and turn it to Setup Mode . The System Setup scr een appears . The name of the scree n that is currently displa y ed is highlighted.
Setup Mode 26 309301G System Setup Screen Use system setup to enter t he date, tim e, language to displa y , dispense mode, means of rec- ipe selection and statio n number . System T o setup the system: 1. T ype the current date: da y (1-31) , month (1-12) , y ear (2000-20 99) .

Fluids Fluid param eters must be set bef ore the f luid can be used in a recipe. T o set up the fluids: Y ou can hav e 1-3 fl uid panels connected to the ProDis- pense contro ller .

Dispense Mode 32 309301G Fluid T otals Screen Press the left or r ight arrow k e y to select T otals . The Fluid T otals screen shows how much of e ach of the fluids has been dispense d ov er all. T wo totals are sho wn. Gra nd totals are trac k ed from the time th e system is first started up and they are no t resettab le.

Out of T olerance Alarm This alar m occurs w hen the current act u al dispense is either less than target – tolerance or greate r than target + tolerance .
Operation Pr ocedures 34 309301G Operation Pr ocedures Loading Fluid Lines F ollow t his procedure to load the fluid lines and purge out any air: 1. Place the dispense line [ or direct the dispense v alv e] into a w aste container . 1. T o begin lo ading fluid, tur n the Operator Station d ispense switch to ON [and trigge r the dispense v alv e].
Operation Proced ures 309301G 35 Pur ging Fluid F ollow this procedure to p urge the fluid lines: 1. Connect the fluid sup ply line to a solv ent supply . Set the fluid supply pressu re as low as possible to a void splashing. 3. Continue dispensing until fluid lines are clean.
