11 Connect Your Tuner to Your Network Getting Started Step 1 - Power up the tuner Power your tuner by connecting to the Power Adapter with th e socket labelled 5V 1 .2A DC at the back of your TUNER. Turn th e main power sw itch ON at the re ar of the cabinet.
12 Step 2 - Scan for a wireless network connection When the display shows <Scan fo r networks>, pres s the ‘Tuner/Select’ button. NOTE: IF you make an erro r at any point, press the ‘Back.

14 After approximately 3 seconds, the disp lay goes into the password entry mode: <E N D ◄ ► A BCDEF> █ To enter the pas sword, use the Tuner /S el ec t DIAL or the UP/DO WN buttons on the remote to select each letter/number/symbol of the password in turn, pressing OK after each le tter.

IF Wired Onl y is selected, your Tuner w ill onl y connect through a Wired conne ction. IF Wireless O nly is selected , your Tuner will o nly connect through Wireless Wi-Fi connection.
17 Listening to Your In ternet Radio Tuner Settings & Network Configurations Changing the volume – headphone connection The volume control on the unit is just for adjusting the volume for the headphon e. You can change the volume by turning the Tuner/Select Dia l clockw ise to increase the volume and counter- clockwise to decrease the volume.
18 <Location> allows you to choose stat ions starting with th e geograp hical area <Genre> allows you to choose st ations according to their content, for example C lassic Rock, Sport, News, etc.
19 NOTE some tun er stations do not broadcast 24 hours per day, and some stations a re not always on-line. If this station has on-demand cont ent (that is, it g ives the option of listening to progra mmes which have already been broadca st), see “Stations which enable you to choose what you listen to”.

21 1. Turn the Dia l to choose <Live> or <On D emand>, then press the ‘ Sele ct ’ button. IF you choose <Live> then the tuner play s the current o utput from this station as normal. If you choose <On Demand> mor e screens are dis played and you can choose wh at you want to listen.

25 Setting the sleep timer 1. Choose Alarm Clock 2. Choose Sleep Timer 3. Then scroll the Select Dial form between 30 seco nds and 99 hour s. When the desired time is reached, Press the select Dial. The tu ner will stay on until t he timer is reaches zero.
26 * ‘manage my stuff’: This is the area to add your personal stream s and to save addition stations. * ‘manage my tuners’: This is the area to delete your tuner from you r account or to add additional t uners.
27 3. Once you have Internet tun er streams avai lable in your ‘My Streams’ list, you may play these stations from your Internet Tuner. These st ations will be availa bl e on your tuner from the menu item: ‘Stations > My Stuff > My St reams’.
28 4. After you have successfully logged int o www.gr ace.reciva.com and your tuner is registered, you can choose 'extra features'. You will then be p rompted to add your Pand ora ‘user name’ and ‘password’. After you have done th is pl ease unplug your tuner from pow er and wait 15 minutes.
29 Media Player Quickstart Guide The Media Playe r allows you to play unprotec ted a udio files (AAC, AIFF, MP3, RM, WAV, WMA) and play lists (M3U) sto red on a networked PC or Apple. It h as been verified to work with Windows 20 00 and Windows XP, and App le OSX.
30 4. Open ‘Window s Explorer’ by right clicking on the Start menu and selecting ‘Explore’. Create a new directory in the ‘Public’ directory and move your media files into this n ew directory. 5. Right click on the directory just created and se lect ‘Share…’.
31 Turn on ‘AirPort’ (or wireless sharing). Wait for a few m inutes for the cha nges to take place. 5. The tuner sho uld now be ab le to access the MAC from its ‘Media Player > Windows Shares’ menu after ente ring in the MAC account’s short name and password on the tuner.
32 Listening to a single shared track 1. Turn the Dial until ‘By Artist’ is displayed. 2. Press the SELECT button. 3. Turn the Dial unt il the require d artist is displayed. 4. Press the SELECT button. 5. Turn the Dial unt il the require d album name is displayed.

34 Browsing the list of tracks currently arranged (queue up) for playback 1. Press the BROWSE button. The current ly playing tr ack name will be displayed. 2. Turn the Dia l to see which tracks are qu eued up for playback. 3. If you want to jump to a particular place in the queue then press the SELECT button when the required track is displayed.
35 5. Press the SELECT button. 6. Turn the D ial until ‘Shuff le’ is displayed. 7. Press the SELECT button. 8. Turn the D ial to select YES/NO to confirm that s huffle mode shou ld be enabled. Playing tracks in the lis t (queue) repeatedly 1. Select the individual t racks as described previously.
36 Set up a Windows PC to allow the tuner to access your audio files via a UPnP server 1. If your PC is ru nning Microsoft Windows XP o r Windows Vista, t hen you can use Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) to act as your UPnP (Universal Plug an d Play) media se rver 1.
37 5. From the ‘Media Sha ring’ window, the tuner w ill be listed as an u nknown device. Click on the unknown device listed, then click the ‘Allow’ button and t hen click ‘OK’.
38 Locating and playing media files using the tuner and UPnP 1. Once the UPn P server is configured to share media f iles with the Internet tuner, you can play the files by doing t he following on the tu ner. 2. Keep pressing BACK to get to the tune r’s top-level menu and the n turn the Dia l to select ‘Media Player’.
