Note for Installing Camera Outdoor When installi ng the IR A r ctic Box C amera , Bullet Camera , Ultra B ullet Camera , Targ et Bu llet Ca mera , Vandal Pr oof IP Do me or Mini Fixed Rugged Dome outdoor, be sure that: 1. The camera is set up above the junction box to prevent water from enteri ng the camera along the cables.
3. After opening the camera cover, ensure t he screws are tightened and the cover is in place. 4. The silica gel bag loses its effecti veness when the dry camera is opened. To prevent the lens from fogging up, replace the silica gel bag every time you open the cam era, and conceal the gel bag in camera within 2 minutes of exposing to open air.
Note for Closing the Bullet Camera Cover To ensure that the camera performs its ful l capacity against water and dust, adhere to the following guideli nes when closing the Bullet Camera cove r: 1. Line up t he dots Tighten the c amera cover until t he dots on t he cover and the body line up as indicated below.

2.5 A ccessory Installation 2.5.1 C-M ount Lenses If you use a C-mount lens, it requires a certai n distance from the camera’s imaging chip to focus the lens. Mount the suppli ed C-mount lens adapter / lens ring to the c amera, and then secure the lens onto the camera body.
Box Camer a 2 2.5.2 Infrared Illuminator s (Optional) If you u se an infra red ( IR) illu mina tor w ith I/O fun ction, follow the step s below to install it. 1. Connect the infrared illuminator to the terminal block on the camera. See 2.6 The I/O Terminal Block .
2.6 I/O T erminal Block The terminal block, l ocated on the back panel of the Box Camera, provides the interface to one input and one output devic es. The I/O terminal block can be used for appl ications suc h as motion detection, event alerts via E- Mail and FTP, and center monitoring through Center V2 and VSM.
Box Camer a 21 2 2.6.2 Connecting to GV -Relay V2 (Optional) The Box Camera can only drive a maximum load of 200mA 5V DC . To expand the maximum volt age load to 10A 250V AC , 10A 125V AC or 5A 100V DC , connect the camera to a GV-Relay V 2 module (optional product).
Chapter 3 Ultra Box Camera The Ultra Box Camera is a series of light-weighted cameras des igned for indoor usage. Equipped with IR-c ut filter and built-in IR LEDs, the Ultra Box Camera provides excellent image qualit y. The c amera supports PoE and can be installed i ntuitively.

3.4 Install ation You can stand the Ultra Box Camera on a plain surface or install it to wall and ceiling. Follow the steps below to install, conne ct and adjust your Ultra Box Camera . 1. To install the device on the wall/ceiling, put the supporting rack on t he desired location and make marks for screw anchors .

Chapter 5 IR Arctic Box Ca mera The IR Arctic Box Camera is a series of outdoor cameras designed for environments of extreme temperatures. The cameras adhere to IP67 and IK10 protection st andards, and are equipped with IR LEDs and removable IR-cut filter for day and night surveillance.

5.6 Notic e for Using t he IR A rctic Box Ca mera Ensure that you: • enable IR LED function on the W eb interface after loading the default settings. • disable the status LED to reduce reflection when a green light spot appears on the live view. 5.

6.4 Install ation To install a Mini Fixed Dome, make sure the installing site is shielded from rain and moisture. 6.4.1 GV-M FD Serie s 1. Unscrew the housing cover using the suppli ed torx wrench. 2. Put the camera on the desired location and make 2 marks on the ceiling for sc rew anchors.
Mini Fixed & R ugged Dome 6 8. Insert a Micro SD card (SD/SDHC, vers ion 2.0 only, Class 10) into the memory card slot (No. 7, Figure 6-1). 9. Secure the housing cover using the supplied torx wrench. 10. Optionally c onceal the c able opening with the suppl ied cable s topper.
6.4.2 GV-M DR Serie s 1. Paste the installation stick er on the desired location. The arrow should point toward the direct ion that the camera faces. 2. Drill one hole on each of the two curves for screw anchors. Drill the circle (30 mm in diameter) if you want to run the cable into the ceiling.

Administrator Mode 20 20.3 Ev ents and Alert s For the events of motion detection or I/O trigger, the Admi nistrator can set up two trigger actions: 1. Send a captured still image by E-mail or FTP. 2. Notify Center Monitoring Station, Center V2 or VSM, by video or text alerts.
20.3.1 E- mail After a trigger event, the camera can send the e-mail to a remote user containi ng a captured st ill image. Figure 20-14 [Enable] Select to enable the e-mail function. Sever URL/I P A ddress: Type the URL address or IP address of the SMTP Ser ver.
Administrator Mode 20 Alerts Interval Time: Specify the interval between e-mai l alerts. The interval is bet ween 0 and 60 minutes. The option is useful for the frequent event occ urrence, by which any event triggers duri ng the interval period will be ignored.
